AI REPORTING FOR ACCOUNTING FIRM LEADERS

Less time assembling reports.
More time leading your firm.

Alx. by DAIS↗

Ask Alx. a question about your firm. Turn supported data from your existing systems into a report you can review, refine and use again.

Bring one reporting question. Explore the report you need and the data behind it.

Data sources

Go beyond the standard report.

Your question. Your report.

Tell Alx. what you need to understand. Create a report around your question, then refine it in plain English.

FROM QUESTION TO CLEARER VIEW

Follow the question that matters.

Start with a reporting question, then narrow the view as your discussion develops. Ask about a period, a client group or an area that needs a closer look, using the data available to your firm.

“Show WIP by partner for September.”

A REPEATABLE REPORTING ROUTINE

Keep the report.
Skip redefining it.

Once a report answers the question, save it for reuse. When the next review comes around, rerun that report instead of describing the same request from the beginning.

Change the way the report gets started.

BEFORE

Another reporting request

  • Explain the question and the report you need.
  • Gather exports and assemble the view.
  • Repeat the request when the question changes.

AFTER

A conversation with Alx.

  • Describe the report in plain English.
  • Review the result and refine the question.
  • Save useful reports to rerun later.

Your team still brings the context and judgment. Alx. helps with the reporting work around it.

Your judgment stays
at the center.

A useful report supports a decision. It does not make the decision for you. Review the results, bring your firm’s context and use Alx. to explore the questions that follow.

Start with the right question.

Define the report, period and measures your team needs.

Review what comes back.

Check the output against the question and the way your firm works.

Put the result to work.

Use the report to support the next conversation, review or decision.

START WITH ONE REPORT

Make the first conversation
about your firm.

You do not need a long wish list to start. Bring one recurring report, one management question or one reporting bottleneck you want to improve.

  1. Choose the question.

Tell us what leadership needs to understand and how that report is prepared today.

  2. Review the data and workflow.

Explore the relevant systems, data availability and review requirements with DAIS.

  3. Define a focused next step.

If there is a fit, discuss a pilot around a specific report and agree what success should look like.

What does Alx. do?

Alx. helps accounting-firm leaders turn plain-English questions into reports using supported business data. You can review a result, refine the request and save useful reports to use again.

Who is Alx. for?

Accounting-firm leadership and the teams supporting them, including managing partners, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, practice leaders and operations or reporting leaders.

Does Alx. replace CCH or our other systems?

No. Alx. adds a conversational reporting experience around supported data from your existing systems. The starting point is the reporting question and the data needed to answer it.

Can Alx. work with our data?

Tell us which systems your firm uses and which report you need. We will review the relevant sources, fields and access requirements with you to establish fit.

Which reporting workflows should we start with?

Work in progress, overdue receivables, billable hours and realization are starting points, not a fixed report menu. Ask for the report your team needs and refine it as questions change. The right first workflow depends on your reporting priorities and available data.

Does saving a report schedule it automatically?

Saving and scheduling are separate actions. Saving keeps a report available to rerun when you need an updated view.

How do we evaluate accuracy and data access?

Start by agreeing the question, data scope, measures and review process. In a pilot, compare the output with your source data and reporting requirements before relying on it for business decisions. Discuss access requirements with DAIS as part of that evaluation.

What happens in the first demo?

We will show the reporting experience, discuss a question your firm needs answered and explore the data it would require. The first conversation helps determine whether a more focused evaluation makes sense.

Bring the question
your firm keeps asking.

What would you like your next report to show?
